About Me

Hello, my name is Dominick Hernandez, and I am a current student at Purdue University. I am majoring in Selling and Sales Management with a current GPA of 3.1. I expect to graduate in May of 2026 with my bachelor's degree in Selling and Sales Mangement with a minor in management, communications, and a certificate in entrepreneurship. I have run two of my own independent companies in landscape and light installation. I have acquired a certificate in customer service, proficient in excel, great communication skills, hard-working, English and Spanish proficient, collaborative working, and much more. I go by the quote "don't wish for it, work for it" and I do this in my everyday life by excelling academically and in my career. I plan on selling insurance when my time is done here at Purdue, but there is no limit with a degree in selling and sales management. I enjoy spending time with family and friends, playing basketball, working out, listening to music, and indulging in Netflix. As a Mexican individual, my core values and principles are deeply rooted in the rich cultural heritage of my homeland. Familismo, the importance of family and community, is at the forefront of my ethical framework. I believe in fostering strong relationships with others, treating everyone with respect, and prioritizing the well-being of my loved ones. As a Mexican-American pursuing a degree in Selling and Sales Management, my personal branding is a fusion of cultural heritage and professional ambition. I am a passionate advocate for inclusivity, diversity, and community empowerment. With a strong foundation in Mexican traditional core values such as familismo, hard work, and integrity, I bring a unique perspective and approach to the field of sales.
